C.I.T.A. Park Beer Garden
The Challenge
C.I.T.A. Park Beer Garden in New Haven CT needed an audio system that could deliver consistent, high-energy music throughout its long outdoor venue. The existing setup relied on a pair of speakers at the DJ booth to cover the entire space, making it difficult to achieve even sound coverage from the front of the venue to the back.
The Solution
STS designed and installed a distributed audio system with multiple speakers positioned along the seating areas. By placing speakers closer to guests and orienting them strategically around the perimeter, each listening zone received balanced, high-quality audio without relying on excessive output from a single location.
The new distributed sound system provides clear, consistent audio across the entire beer garden while creating the lively atmosphere the venue wanted. Guests enjoy the same listening experience regardless of where they are seated, and the system operates more efficiently with lower individual speaker output, improving overall sound quality and control.
